A Muslim man destroyed a small shine in Queens, N.Y. that was dedicated to a fallen 9-11 hero on Monday.

According to eyewitnesses, Adnam Emre, 26, was seen ripping down a cross from the shrine and shouting, “this is political!”

The 9-11 shrine was for fallen police officer, Paul Talty, who was killed while rushing into the south tower as it fell. He was 40-years old.

Through a bit of politicking, the issue of Illegal Immigration has reached a boiling point recently. The United States has experienced massive demonstrations and a national “walk-out” day of immigrants. There seems to be some confusion on the issue of immigration by both sides. Are the protestors arguing that breaking the law is ok or are they arguing, because they think proposed action against illegal immigrants is a move against legal immigrants—perhaps both? If immigrants want to show that they are Americans and to be valued, why are they demonstrating by waving the flag of another country?
